Wide Angle Pee Wee Hockey

While shooting our Pee Wee AAA playoff action this weekend, I decided to pull out my 17-55 EFS 2.8 wide angle lens and play around a bit. Some creative cropping and such and I have some hockey "panorama" type shots. Tell me what you think.

Note: All shot thru the dirtiest glass I have ever seen...not only puck marks, but a general film of dust and dirt. This did not help the IQ. Nor is the 17-55 anywhere close to my 70-200 f2.8L!! Any tips for PP the haze the dirty glass causes would be appreciated.

Interesting and a refreshing change from the usual. I really like how number 7 turned out.

^ agreed, I like the panoramic idea, something different..

For #2, the kids white sweater looks some what transparent, wonder why??

Sports Guy...the transparency on the shirt in #2 would be a big ugly blotch on the glass. As mentioned, this glass was horrible. It is a 2 year old facility and I don't think they even cleaned the factory dust off the panels when they installed them.

Looks like a nice rink with good lighting.
