Compack Flash Card

I bought a new SanDisk 512mb Compack Flash Card to take on a fall color trip to thr mountains.I filled the card up with Raw images,close to the end I got an error 02,which is an error on the flash card.I can view the images on the camera,but can't install them on my computer.when I do I get the same error message.Does anyone know of anyway to save these images.Thinking maybe going with a card reader and trying that.Please help! :cry:

I think that err02 can mean several things. I know that I got that once when I bent the CF pins in my old rebel.

I think I'd need to know more to really be of any help, but just based on what you've said; I would get a CF Card reader for the computer and see what happens. If the files are corrupted I would use the PhotoRescue software and attempt a recovery.

What software are you trying to upload into? What camera do you have? What did you do close to the end to cause the error message?

I have a Canon EOS10D,useing canons software.I was takeing a shot from my hotel window when the error occured.

So, you're plugging the camera itself into the computer and then...what happens? Do you get anything on the computer monitor? An error message? or just an error messge on the camera?

When all the images apear on the computer,I get the blinking error on the cameras screne-error 02.Then the images disapear and this message appears on the computer.Camera is no longer available.Quit the application and check the cable connections or another cause of disconnection.
