Hey all, I have a delima, I am a professional photographer of 11 years and I am getting married in Vegas in 1 month. I have a friend that will be there that can shoot some standard photos, but what im looking for is one of you local guys/girls that can hook up with us, and spend a half a day taking us around and showing us the really nice scenic locations and snapping some photos.

We are on a limited budget, and I would be interested in talking about bartering my OTHER services with you. Along with photography I do Vinyl’s signs, lettering, decals, banners etc. I screen print on apparel and I also embroider on any fabric, hats shirts etc.. along with all of that I am also a website designer and graphic designer. So what I would like to throw out there is a swap, I am photoshop guru forever as far as I can remember so I can do the post processing, and so I need images on a disk, and I will add them to albums, etc. etc. I know that is a gray area with some photographers, and not with others, I want to talk to the ones who don't mind putting images on a disk. I'm either going to set the shot up and have my buddy shoot it, or I can barter out with one of you guys or gals, and you get a bunch of free shirts, or a new website, etc. etc. out of the deal for spending a few hours doing what you love...

So let me know what you think and if you have issues doing this kind of work, then please click the back button and move on, I am not interested in any negative feedback about giving away digital negatives, I know several local photographers here in Oklahoma that do it and would do it if I could afford to fly them to Vegas, I am only interested in those of you who would be interested in working something out. Money is not out of the question, its just that we are already strapped from the flight, hotel, meals, etc. etc. for the trip. So please, if you think you might be interested, let me know on here or email me either one, thank you!

Not sure, but I think my post got deleted. That or I messed up in posting it...

Anyways, I'm not big on bartering - just don't need much other than money :) - but I think my prices are pretty reasonable for what I give my clients. Check me out at www.bobbyearle.com and let me know. Best of luck!

Hi,

I'm new to this forum I know - but I saw this post and thought it looked interesting. If you are available to chat via Y!IM, I'd like to talk about helping you out. Mostly though, I am pretty much unavailable during the day unless it is weekend or holiday.

So yeah, send me a PM or IM or something if you are interested - my Y!IM is listed on my profile page and I have PMs turned on. :)

Hi DArkdragon, I looked at your site but did not see any wedding photos, do you have some you have shot of couples before that is another location?

thanks for the interest!

Oh, no I have not shot any weddings. I think I misread or misunderstood your post - I was thinking you meant you wanted help around town finding places to shoot after the wedding while you were still in town.

Hey DArkdragon, do you have some places you suggest to make sure I visit on the trip and take photos at? Maybe real scenic places, or famous landmarks that aren't obvious to the tourist like me, maybe some that are outside of town etc..???

Hey there, I'm a Las Vegas local and I can show you around. I'm not that interested in your services (I work for one of the largest graphic design and screen printing companies in the south-west) but I'm sure I can come to some form of arrangement with you. PM me or email me (mailto:mark@bhalash.com)

creatinggrafix, I enjoyed the Valley of Fire when I was in Vegas this past summer. It's about 40 miles away. I can get more info on it if you are interested in it.

Red Rock is closer and looks nearly just as awesome, not to mention lake mead or the neon museum.

Hi all who posted, the wedding was GREEAT, the photographer I got hooked up with was great as well, I was actually happy with the images, worried at first, but he was a prof. for 9 years and I cut some signs for him prior to leaving and actually installed them the day before the wedding for him, it was not for a photography business, but it was for another one of his companies, so it worked out perfect. I got about 400 images from the wedding and the day after, he walked around vegas with us for half a day and shot us doing everything we could think of and posed next to everything on the strip i t hink.

Anyway, thank you all for your wishes of luck, it was great, and I will post photos when I get back to the office.
