What if I were to buy a Mark 2 (1D) on Ebay and got the bill of sale from the owner. He never sent in the registration card either. He's had the camera since August and bought it from an authorized dealer. Will Canon recognize me for warranty services even if I am not the person on the bill of sale? There is a camera on Ebay I'm looking at and it is within driving distance for me but I would rather buy new if I can't get a viable warranty. thanks Brian
