Hi everyone ive not been using my camera for a while , an ive forgoten what
sort of setting's i would need for say road racing .Cheer's
Camera canon 350d , hopefully sunny condition's ;)

F/16 at 1/250th of a second sounds good to me.

F/16 at 1/250th of a second sounds good to me. Rad's #s will work at about ISO 250.
Unless you want creative blur, I'd bump that up to f/16, 1/400sec, ISO 400 for "hopefully sunny conditions".
Try both. Live a little! ;)

IMHO racing images look much better with some motion in them. I use TV mode and try to get the shutter speed down to 1/100 sec or a little bit faster and get some panning in. Depends on the speed of the vehicles too I guess. If you're shooting super bikes and they're flying by then you might want to start off at around 1/200 sec and then as you see you're getting good shots then experiment and move slower.
