That's a gross thought--but they are awesome hunters--I have seen one catch a bee and eat it--swift and lethal BAM!
It is an awsome shot--how did you get it to stay still long enough?

well i put the flys in the cold before i shoot them..also put honey down for fly to eat.if that doenst work i cut its wings off :lol:

think the honey trick is fine but fridging them or cutting their wings off !

Assume that's pre-mantid feeding stuff.

yer..i would never do it to any other insect..because i feed my mantids with chilled flys it doesnt seem wrong..:D but freezing or cooling off insects to take pics is wrong unless its flys..lol:lol::rolleyes:
