I want to replace the background on my photo in PS Elements 2. I'm searching everywhere and every tutorial I find starts out with "select the image with the lasso tool" and then work with the layers. I can work with the layers, but I still can't find a beginner's tutorial relating to "selecting" the foreground image. All I can get are pieces of the shades. Does anybody have a really simple explanation of how to "select" an image? There's gotta be something I'm missing. Thanks.
