Leaves catch rain in different ways--so I have found....it's great to go out either while its raining or just after.

Good eye to find this nice natural pattern.

I'd consider cloning out the lens flare and maybe applying some noise reduction to the solid green area on the right. Did you have to lift the exposure on this in post? Looks like you raised the noise floor significantly.

its very grainy and slightly OOF

It is grainier than it should be. Was this underexposed, than brightened? The light reflecting off of the water can trick the light meter to thinking the scene is brighter than it is, and thus want to underexpose.

The picture is nice though and not out of focus.

The exposer seems to be a little off i think the leaf should be a bit darker because its giving me a multicolor graininess that isnt very appealing

Thanks for the input!--Yes this is not the best shot--in fact I didn't post the better one because the file is too big. It was taken on a hot summer day after a rain shower with a humidity of 90% or more. Now that I think about it---I probably came out from airconditioning---camera fog? I thought the concept was interesting though--here's another......not taken the same day nor the same camera(Canon PS A520). The first was taken with a Canon Powershot similar to the A520.
