I've got a new problem that just started. When I convert my photos from raw to j-peg it puts my mac to sleep. Sometimes it just freezes up and sometimes it just goes to sleep. I have reloaded my digital photo professional software and updated it. I have also tried to convert old raw files with the same results, Any ideas ?????? I'm using a mac 10.4.11 verson
Thanks Homey

You might get more help on an Apple specific forum. Do you have any other RAW conversion software you can use to try to convert the files? That will help you narrow the problem down.

A bit more info might help: When did this start (anything installed just before?), What mac, what does Activity Monitor say? Smart status of the HDD? Checked permissions?

This started about 2 weeks ago and have not downloaded any new programs. I don't even surf the web with this computer. It is a g5 quad, with a 10.4.11 verson. I cant check the Acitivity monitor when it freezes, the computer just goes to sleep or it completely locks up and the fan runs super fast. The permissions in the program appear to be correct. Thankyou for you help !! Homey

Is it running hot?
No coolant leak?

Everthing seems to be working normal, except when I try to convert a picture.
