Hi,

I have shot some lunar eclipse pictures with ISO 1600 and some with ISO 400. The images with ISO 1600 came out B&W whereas ISO 400 came out OK.

I am just wondering if we can change ISO to 400 in RAW image. This is the first time i have captured using raw so i am not sure what are the limitations.

Nope. But yes. Sorta. Take ISO 1600. You want to make it 3200? Shoot the ISO 1600 shot at -1ev then in postprocessing crank up the exposure by one stop.

But no, ISO is the sensitivity of the sensor during photon capture. Not adjustable after. but you can simulate it with exposure adjustments. Your shutter and aperture values are of course fixed.

Would'nt it be nice if you could though.

I accidentally left the camera set at 800ISO and the next shot, "landscape with bridge and trees over river" would have been great, but the beautiful clear deep blue sky caught a particularly virulent form of measles, or some kind of skin complaint. Luckily it's close to home so I can reshoot with a bit more care and attention to detail.
