What is the best online gallery?

Hey guys. I want to start using galleries for my wedding clients. Any advice on the best sites out there, best prices, good customer service etc....?

I think the most popular you will find are SmugMug and Zenfolio. Each has its strengths but SmugMug has been in the selling photos biz for a bit longer. I personally use Zenfolio and love them to death. They have the best customer service and I find their pricing and sales options perfect for me.

Short recommendation, try out a trial of each, they are free, and then make your choice.

My vote ='s Zenfolio. Smugmug recently had some huge privacy problems with the "private gallery" deal, I am guessing they have fixed that.

I have been using Zenfio for a while and have had no problems, and tried SmugMug before I invested in Zenfolio. I personally found it kind of complicated compared to Zenfolio.

Another to throw into the mix is Photoshelter or do your own using JAlbum; some of their skins have PayPal shopping carts integrated into them; it's free and you fulfil the orders yourself and you don't have to pay commission on any sales.

Smugmug is a very popular choice. If you do go with them, make sure you tell them you're a POTN member and you'll get a discount. There's a thread w/ the code somewhere on here.

I use photocart. One time fee for the software and it runs on my own webserver, which means as long as you learn some PHP you can tailor it to how you want.

Instaproofs - It is FREE! (no monthly or yearly fee - you make a sale they take a small cut but provide the hosting and other services like sending out emails to your clients) You have to fill your own orders which I like because it gives me control selecting the printing company that I use and then I can hand deliver the product.

Do any of them have a program for direct printing to a lab? I use Photo Reflect, but I am a Mac user, and Digital Darkroom is PC only.

Anyone know of a Mac program like photoreflect/digital darkroom?

I have Exp Mgr set up where you cannot tell who I use by looking at my site. They have an option to remove their name from the site. You're right, it is an important detail
