hopefully someone can help me. I have a sunpak 120j the has a threaded base on it. It works great and I love it but I would like to try it on camera. I bought the ca-3d module thinking it would just swap in. When i took the flash apart i it does not match the module. i am stumped. can someone clue me in or point me in the right direction. thanks

Do you have the later Sunpak 120J (TTL) that accepts the interchangeable flash foot modules, or the earlier "plain" 120J that has a fixed HH sync connector (no flash foot modules).

Also, which camera do you have?

Enjoy! Lon

Just run a short sync cord from the HH sync connector on the 120J to the PC sync connector on the 5D, or 30D (250 Volt sync Voltage limit).

The same sort of cord will connect on the 10D also, but you may want to check the sync Voltage on the flash before you connect to the 10D (6 Voltage limit).

No such easy accommodation on the XT.
