WOW!! What kind of praying mantids are you mutating... :shock: .... :D I would probably straighten the first. Both are great. The first one is a great shot...it just makes you wonder what it is ...the second one I know is one of your new "mutated" mantids...:)

if u go to my gallery your see..i went to mates house to shoot his snakes,scoprions and spiders.i have more to upload..il post some more up in bit.he had a rattle snake.lol.as well as 15 others..:lol:

like i told him..whats the point..most of them u cant pick up with your hands..every spider he has bare 1 u cant pick up..hes using tongs and keeping them in glass tanks..imo its pointless..before i went to his he pmed me..asked me if i had 100mm lens..i told him i only have 50mm..he said "well dont get to close,most are venomous" he has i think 2 that he can handle..i need to upload some more pics..il try and do it in sec..im not sure of the names..he knows them all..il try and get him to name them.

Is the close-up the corn snake? The second one is an amazon tree boa. Both can make calm, handlable snakes if treated right :)
Beautiful photos - I spend most of my time photographing snakes, they make excellent subjects! Wish my photos were as nice as yours though...

well im sure if they where my snakes i would get better shots because i would have time to get them when there chilled out..taking them out of there tanks and disturbing them just makes for a nightmare phototshoot..most of them shots where taking when the snake was moving.i dont like snakes that much tho to keep them..there not my thing
