Hi,

i have been having trouble trying to get my canon film scannerto work with XP and in my frustration thought about the idea of using the G£ to copy sldies.

my question is has anyone done this with any peice of kit? and if so how were the results? how easy was i t? and what hardware solutions can you recommend!

i dont want to spend huge amounts but i do need a simple solution, as i have nearly 6,00 slides left to scan!

HELP!!!!

Hello

If I was you I'd go to any lengths to get your scanner to work with XP! There may be "driver" (software) issues here that prevent the computer and scanner from talking to each other.

I have an attachment for SLR/DSLR cameras that enables you to photograph slides and negs. The Slide Duplicator fits into the lens mount and you can insert slide and negs at the other end. But the quality falls behind a scanner, even when you use off-camera flash to expose the shots.

I don't know of any attachment that would work with the G3. Hope you get it sorted - you've a lot to get through!

Good luck,

Sam
