Need some help with this....

I'm having a problem placing the "2008" in the pic below......any idea's or does it look ok where it is?

They're are wanting to place these at each table setting at their reception Saturday.

It looks nice without it but I was just thinking it needed to be there for the other people!?!?!

If they need the year to remind them later when the wedding was, they aren't going to be saving the place card in the first place, IMO.

How about one of these (not both)? Photoshopping 2008 in the sand as though it were drawn there with a stick would be cool if you have time.

try just putting 08 and have it like black and 3/4 above the line 1/4 of it blending to the black bg. worth a try ? ^_-

I like the one on the black to the right..... I'll have to ask them if they want it or not.

I would type the second white line using smaller font and add 2008. It's a part of the date and I think it should go together.

I would prefer not to have the date in the photo at all. Given the choice, I would have the date on the "black" part of the whole card, at least the font feels better there.

I was going to say the same thing.. I would put it with the rest of the date, it looks weird by itself!

It adds zero value to the photo to put 2008, and detracts in alot of ways. If you need to include it I'd incorporate it in with the other text.
