Indian weddings are known for being long, joyful and colorful events and most of them are also great for photographers. There is always something to photograph.

Our studio had the opportunity to photograph such event lasting two days in November. Please, click the following link for pictures with descriptions:
Indian wedding in Atlanta (http://www.slava-slavik.com/wedding_photography/weddings_2007/indian_wedding_in_atlanta/).

I hope the detailed description helps other photographers hired for similar assignment to find out more about the Indian wedding ceremonies, which we had to reasearch before the wedding in order to provide meaningful coverage for the client. I'll be also grateful for CC.

Thanks

Great pictures and very informative - I suspect your efforts will bring more business as you obviously took pains to document the whole ceremony.

How does one charge for a 2 day wedding? Do you just double your single day price or something else?

For this wedding we charged as for one day only. The bride had good shopping skills and we wanted to photograph her wedding desperately. It was our first Indian one. We planned on putting together a bit more descriptive page to our website for prospective Indian brides and market it within the local Indian community.
Well, I hope we get more Indian weddings now. :)
