Not sure what Henk wrote, but if it's along the lines of "Wow! Great shots! And with a G1 -- hoo hoo!" then I agree completely.
Frank, do you use close-up filters for your macros? They seem amazingly close.

Translation: Always a pleasure to see some heath :)
No I didn't use any extra lenses or filters. Only cropped the original pictures.

Beautiful shots. I rarely see sun-lite cloluds in the early morning. Thank you for sharing your miracles of photons with the web. The lone jet at 20,000 ft one more miracle. What a show light and color.
Today I hope to post a shot that I took yesterday morning along Ottawa's Lime Kiln trail. It is similar to your 3rd shot in that it shows a tree -- but this on will be in a flowered swamp.
I mention that becuase I have been wondering whether film or digital really captures the full range of morning light that reaches our botanic world. I have a nice shot too, but I feel that the true magic of the morning light is absent. Just not quite there. How do you feel about your 3rd picture?
Thanks
HOWIE

Owh you like that jet ? I found it a bit disturbing ... a bit unnatural.
About the morning light on the 3th picture. I have the same feeling as you. The warm, golden touch of the morning sun hasn't been captured on film.
If you would ask about it to a person who would not know that the picture has been taking in the morning ... he would just answer ... hey nice sun. You can't capture any "magic" on film ... but you can always keep the feeling in your thaughts as a memory. :)
