I'm delighted with my G9 and it will be a great partner to my 30D. My friend bought it in the UK and brought it to me overseas. Sadly there was no CD manual with it - perhaps it got lost in transit. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement copy? Thanks.

There is no CD manual for the G9, but it does come with some software if that is what you mean :)

You can purchase a replacement copy of the software from Canon. The US phone number is on their site at the following link: http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ContactCanonAct

And with my G9 there was a CD manual with the box. So it seems some get it and others don't :)

The "Getting started guide" says quite clearly that in the package there is a CD-ROM "Canon Digital Camera Manuals Disk" . This I don't have. My attempts to contact Canon have not proved successful so far.

Any other ideas? Is there a PDF version on the web somewhere?

Thanks for your help.

Hi,
I've created a direct download from a free file sharing site. Hope I'm ok to post this.
