I like the expression on the pitchers face, this was a difficult field to shot at, wire fences all around, the only way to shot was to get up close and go between the wire, I failed! But I liked this image and wanted to see what other members thought? Canon 30D, 70-200 f4, 200iso, program mode (lazy). Thanks for any and all comments.

Real rookie mistake, forgot the image. Here it is (I hope). Be kind as I goof on a daily basis!

Pete - Nice facial expression. Really tough lighting, though. The shot is a little soft, and this might be 'cuz you shot through the fence. When I've had to do this, I open the lens all the way up and get the lens as close to the fence as possible. Even then, I'll have to run the image through a contrast boost to make it look the best. Also, why "P" mode? get at least into Av, where you can control your aperture.

Thanks for sharing, and I look forward to seeing more of your shots this year.

I was lazy, I do for the most part shot in the av mode, been getting into M mode also, but for this shot I was lazy. I hope to post more as the season gets into swing. Would like your comments. Thanks again for the look and the comment. Pete
