Hi Henk,
Iran is a great country to travel in... it was our second time we were there - first time in 1996... this time we travelled from Belgium to Iran in our own car... we travelled for about 3,5 months and covered over 18000 kms... there's info on the trip itself on our pages as well so come and have a look... i'd be happy to answer any specific questions you might have... and yes, Esfahan is great :-)
Just had a quick look at your Morocco album... great shots !

Jan

Hi Jan,
I had looked at your wonderful adventure of photos taken in Turkey and Iran. Some day I would like to travel there. I have been to Egypt on vaction, twice (90 and 92). My brother In-Law and his wife had just left Seattle to visit his family in Turkey . I had forward your album link via neo web mail. They will be there for a month. You do have quit a photo gallery. I like the picture of the small truck in the dining room. Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful photos.
But I have very limited knowledge of the area --except perhaps for some letters from St Paul who has long since come and gone.
So, I took refuge in your garden. You know, the one with the gorgeous back-lite, green-leafed tree. It's perfect exposure. The glistening sun and emerald water. The gently falling water. Yes, that's the one.
If time permitted, I would stay for a while. In a comfortable chair softly padded with my own beautiful Kilim rug. Here I would sit in the quiet and re-read (amoung other books), Stephen Hawking's "A brief History of Time".
