Getting credentials to shoot Pendulum and Futureheads.

Just thought I'd share my excitement, as this is the first large 'concert' I've got credentials for. It's only a pendulum DJ set.. but still! :lol:.

Looks like I'll be hiring some kit for it.

Hay man, a word of warning, i have shot a few pendulum sets now, and they dont do much, so really look for them angles, they may be different now and may move around and play up to camera, but them live is totally different, but had NO front lighting.

But im glad you got one as they are nice guys.

P.S. i dont know what the Future heads will be like, is that dj set too?

Well, to be honest, I'm still in the 'shutter drag' stage, I blame that on poor lighting in dingy venues, and my lack of equipment. Which is why I'm hiring gear for this event, then I'll have no excuses except my own lack of expertise.

It's actually at a venue called 'The Athena' in my hometown: Leicester, the venue is usually a conference hall, and holds events like wedding receptions, so it'll be interesting to see how they deal with a concert/rave. It's a large venue with good lighting - I assume - so I have nothing to complain about.

It's in about a months time, 21st of March.

Thanks for the heads-up matey, I assumed as much, I wish it was a live set. I still actually haven't been to one, heard it's pretty impressive though?

Futureheads are playing, so that's probably a bit more exciting. It's all just experience for me, and nice to be shooting for some big names for a change.

Just heard that NME have some connection to the event now, can anyone give me some advice on how to get my shots to the magazine after the event? Who to contact?
