While I was away from this forum, someone put all their favorite pictures from www.railpictures.net, including a few of mine, onto at least 6 seperate flickr accounts. After many pages of threads on forums, the guy checked his PM inbox and, after reading through a bunch of messages from people that ranged from polite to downright insulting, he voluntarily deleted all the accounts.
What a happy ending!

Why would someone even bother wasting time doing that in the first place? Bizarre. Glad it turned out for the best though.

Did he represent them as his own?
Not that that makes a difference, just curious.

He cropped the copyright off the images, and flickr is generally seen as a place where you can put your photos.

So he could impress the ladies with them???? :) I think that if your pictures are good enough to market, you may probably have you own site to begin with. Flickr is just very amateurish and just can't see what could he do with the stolen pictures.
