Wired or wireless.

wired would serve the purpose i guess... any special occasions you'd prefer wireless ?

I prefer wireless just because I'm a klutz.. if there's a cord within 10 feet, my shoes will find it.

I prefer and bought wired. It's cheap, about $20.

so i guess i'm off buying a wired remote release. Just one question though for bulb exposures do i have to go like (press hold :( 5 mins :( release) or (click :) 5 mins :) click)

They usually have a locking switch, so you just have to be able to find the cable when you're done!

The release button can be locked into place.

with the wired, you can engage it...go have coffee, come back to disengage it.

Btw, it can focus too.

(let me look for it to give you the model no.)

I hope you know that the senser is on the back, so you can't take a group photo with yourself in it.

You can use the wireless RC-1 remote, in bulb mode you click once to open the shutter and click again to close it. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=12935&is=REG

The sensor is in the front, so it will indeed work for group photos. It is on the side with the shutter release button in the middle of the grip.

Opps, you are right tofuboy, and thanks for the correction.
