I found that particular shot a little boring personally, but some of the others in your gallery are really great, they really convey the power and movement of the water, it's impressive stuff.

I love it. Nice color and I like the inclusion of the hill behind. I wouldn't crop it.

the color pic makes my eyes wander..
however the next shot <same thing in color> maybe i have a bias for b/w.... anyways... good shot... b/w is better.

Nigel,
What was the shutter speed? It looks like it was just long enough to give some evidence of motion, but not a "blur-out".
For the background, in my opinion, I would prefer a time of year when there was more green color. I think that would contrast better with the rocks in the foreground.
Nice balance and composition to the scene.

I'm kinda like some of the others who have viewed the photo. Very nice composition and subject, the only thing I'm thinking is that it might have more appeal if it is in B&W.
Very nice pic though!

Seeing them side by side doesn't make for an easy decision on which is a better photo. I think I'd like the B&W photo better if the contrast was a little deeper. Side by side the colour photo carries a bit more appeal.
Great photo! Thank you for sharing!

I like it without the crop. For me the b/w looses some of the beauty of the scene. Keep it as it is.
