I could be way off, so someone please correct me if I am. But, aren't they phasing out the 550EX in favor of the 580EX?

Its being discontinued I THINK, but its still an incredible flash and its about 200 cheaper than the 580EX in most places. Its kinda like how the 10D has been discontinued but people still buy it new and used.

Best price at a reputable vendor I've seen is 314 at BH. Can prolly find it cheaper, check www.resellerratings.com.
