My first time studio anything, bought 550EX and 500 Super just a couple of days prior to the shooting with very limited testing of them. Also, I have no clue about studio light setup (as I learned along the shooting and after reviewing the shots), but the people, unlike me, seem to be happy with the following images:

Please tell me what you think of those.

First and last have color casts to them. Several of the others have some blown out highlihgts.
Fixing the casts is pretty easy. Blowouts are another issue. If it is blown out in the original capture, it's gone. Otherwise, it's probably something you can deal with in Curves.

Just my opinion...but you need to move your light sources...there some hard shadows that I think don't look good.

WOW I think you did excelent for your first try. Hell that first pic is so good in my eyes you've beat out pics I've seen from so called "pros". Keep it up and keep experimenting with those poses. :D

Nice posing! The last shot with a little fill in the front would be a real winner. Keep playing with the light.

Those shots are sweet!
Way better than my first trys...especially the group shots...more than 2 people gets tricky...it seems when you add that 3rd person everything falls apart.
One thing I think you should look at is your hand positions. None of them really look natural. Especially the woman's hand in the second pic and the man's had in the third one (his is cluched to tight).
The last pic is my favorite. Just let those fingers curve though...the man's hand is flat and doesnt look natural.
Try getting a short piece of dowel and telling them to curle their fingers around the dowel really gently.
I really like them though. Keep it up!
