LowePro makes lens cases which can be easily attached to any of their camera cases via a single strap. Apparently they do not make such cases for speedlites. Does anyone know of a company that does make such a case?

You might want to consider the Lightning Fast case from Think Tank.

You would be able to fit a Speedlite in some of the lens cases, though it will have empty space around it!

Tamrac makes one: http://www.amazon.com/Tamrac-MX5384-Medium-Accessory-Attach/dp/B00009UTQG It fits the 580EX perfectly. I literally just got one today, but The case itself is a lot bigger than I thought it would be, so I'm thinking of returning it, but it would work perfectly.

that made absolutely no sense to me. perfect does not equate returning. but i suppose that tamarc bag looks nice

He said the 580 fits "perfectly" into the case...Not that the case was perfect.

Actually, I was somewhat confused as well, so thank you for clarifying. Anymore pouch recommendations for bags with "slip-on" straps?

I have that one as well and it is perfect. It is just the size of the 580EX II so I am not sure how it could be too big.

I suspect he's referring to the outside dimensions.

I use the Canon Case my 580exII came in. Maybe you can find one of those.

If you read the OP, he wanted one that attached to a camera bag.

Normally I keep my 580 in its Canon pouch, but if I'm shooting and know I will be taking the flash on and off I toss it in a Domke pouch which I hang off my belt. Works out really well and gives me quick access to the flash without even having to go in my bag.

Your right, but I just love having the pouch on my belt. Makes things so easy I had to share. :D

Huh? Do you stick the pouch in your pants?

You didn't read his earlier post? He uses a Domke pouch which can be attached to a belt or a bag.

Yeah but sticking it in your pants is cooler.
