Hello Amit,
Night photography can be very difficult, while you've chosen an interesting subject, you would really need to work hard to make it work in these conditions.
A tripod is really worth getting ( I got a pretty good one for about $40)
A tripod lets you use much longer exposure times (slower shutter speeds) which lets you capture more detail in the dark.

This shot, while by no means great, shows you that will a longer exposure, you can pick out the form of things, even with little light.

thanks lucas ...yes m getting a tripod very soon.. am down with slip disc so as sooin as on my feet me getting me tripod
