Problem with buttons in 300D.

Hello

I have a little problem with my 300D. With buttons MENU, JUMP, Av, ... Actually all of them are not working correct - time to time. One time a few buttons are dead but another time other ones are dead. J have updatet my camera on hack firmware but I do not think that hack could be a reason of my problem. Yesterday I went to CANON SERVICE. Today their specialist called me and told that everything is ok and he could not find a problem. I was very happy only for 2 hours. Now I still have the same problem. :(

Have you ever heard about similar situation?

First off, welcome to the forum.

Secondly, just out of curiousity...are you sure your camera isn't going into sleep mode between button presses. I can't remember how long the time is...but if you leave your camera idle for a certain amount of time (actually rather short...like 40 seconds or something), it will go to standby. You have to press a button once to get it to come back to life...give it a second or two, and then try...should be fine.
