It's been a while since I've updated this thread. There are now almost 600 members with about 15,000 photographs and pictures of artwork.

It's worth taking another peek at...

I've added almost 3000 categories to The Lens Flare to flatten the category tree. Before, it was very vertical, which is problematic because once an image was on page 5+, there was little chance of it being viewed.

However, by widening the number of categories to a few thousand, most images will show up in at least a few categories on the first couple of pages, which will increase the exposure to all, instead of a lot of exposure to a few.

To make it easy to navigate, I've simulated a dictionary or 'Yellow Pages' where you drill down from a broad view to a specific category.

It's been a while since I've updated this thread. There are currently 26,000 images from over 800 photographers at The Lens Flare (http://www.thelensflare.com).

4,000 more images have been uploaded in the last couple of months bringing the total to over 30,000 on The Lens Flare.

TLF is a great place to host your images for free.
