SORRY NO PICTURE HERE, BUT I NEED SOME ADVICE. A GENTLEMAN CONTACTED ME THRU MY PBASE PHOTO WEBSITE AND WANTS TO PURCHASE ONE OR MORE OF MY PHOTOS FOR HIS WEBSITE. GREAT, THE PROBLEM IS I HAVE NEVER SOLD ANY PHOTOS AND AM NOT SURE WHAT TO CHARGE FOR THIS TYPE OF THING! HE ASKED ME IF I HAD A RELEASE PRICE AND AGREEMENT. I ASSUME THAT MEANS HE WANTS TO BUY ALL THE RIGHTS TO ONE OF MY PHOTOS. I WOULD APRRECIATE ANY HELP YOU GUYS COULD GIVE ME! THANKS!

We need more details... sounds like you need more details too.
Ask him does he want to buy the copyright or the right to use the image.
Ask him what the image will be used for. In what venue.
How many reproductions/prints
How long will it run for?

You need more information before you know what to price it as.
Get the info then post back if you still are unsure.
Im sure someone can help.

Also, feel free to use non-capital letters. I certainly hope you're not replying to him like that...

Sorry for the "SCREAMING". That's not my intent, it's just that I have a bad habit of typing in caps. Mostly work related. SORRY! :D

A tip off here should be "All Rights". That means you can never sell the image again to anyone... ever. Usual price is probably between 10X and 100X what you usually charge.

One time use, non-exclusive is the basic. Any limitations should go up in price from there, depending upon just how limited decides how much additional you need to charge.
