View Full Version : Another attempt at dew drops...

I figured out how to create a somewhat controlled environment for shooting dew drops. So I picked some flowers from my backyard and after spraying them with mist I used props to hold them steady on my work table in the garage and shot them on the tripod. I had a much better success rate than the outdoors shots I attempted over the weekend.

I know I still have a lot to learn in doing this. I would also like to thank LordV for his inspiration and guidance.

Your C&C would be greatly appreciated.

Good shots - if you want clean focus on both the drops and the refracted image you will either have to move the flower around behind the drops or use focus stacking as I normally do.

Thank you very much for your kind words Brian. It means a lot to me. http://www.ls2.com/forums/images/smilies/hail.gif

I actually ended up doing exactly what you suggested. I kept the camera on a tripod and arranged the flowers to get the best shot possible. :)
