#9! Tweaking the nose with the toes. Great captures. I like #2 too. The moves are fast and you caught some great moments.
How many images total did you record?
How do you say excellent in Dutch?

captures are good overall. Nice "foot in face" shots! A few look a touch soft (e.g. 3,4,7). White balance tends to be on greenish side on my monitor and some maybe need a slight bump up on exposure in PP?

Ouch!
I thought the Dutch were neutral?
Nice action.
I'd recc. color correcting them.

Dig-it-al, I am British not Dutch :)
CStewart, I noticed that 4 was soft too. Should have used a different shot. This is the first time i have used the * for focus so i am not too unhappy.
Thanks hortonsl62, i will take a look at the colour in this shots later.

Theyre all very similar...
3/4 of them are just kicks to the face. Its neat...but I like a little diversity myself. Some of them look OOF or like they were cropped too much from the original. Maybe its just some weird JPG effect.
Overall I like them though. I think 11, 10, and 6 are my favorite.

I follow my son around to karate tournaments and shoot his matches- it's a lot harder than you think. Unless you have some special pass you don't always get a good vantage point and gyms are usually dark. You got some good peak action shots, the white balance is a little off. How far away were you? I like to use the 85mm 1.8 if I have room, otherwise a 50mm or 35mmL.

That was my immediate thought also. #4 is oof. Several of them don't really have faces to connect with. My favorites are #1, #8, and #10. Plus #9 for the humor value. :)

It's a Tae Kwon Do tournament, a majority of the interesting shots are going to be head/face kicks. Occasionally you'll get some decent body shots like 11 and 6, but at a point it becomes somewhat difficult to land solid to the body unless it's a counter to kick in progress or pulled into the middle or end of a combination.

Great fighting series with impact shots. Do you have any forms/katas to show...sometimes you get nice kicking technique shots during forms.

Anyone else shooting martial arts?
I've shot some Judo:

Martial Arts are TOUGH. Action tends to go from slow to wickedly fast in the blink of an eye.
You have some really good shots. As mentioned by other posters your WB appears to be a bit off. It's always good to get the face for the expression. Brings a human feeling to the action. A certain drama.
Cheers!

Nice web site SnapLocally. I have shot some BJJ and K1 at Seni in the UK. I really enjoyed it and would like to do more at some point.

Very nice shots, you captured some great moments. I used to do this sport for 7 years so it is especially cool to see these.
