Sundial and Lake Blanche (http://www.thelensflare.com/gallery/p_sundial_47.php)
This was my top image, but lately I've had several negative comments about it. What do you think?

It's ok but I prefer the other ones you have posted here.

Your composition is good but it could be improved with a little bit of cropping. The problem I see with the photo is the focus is on the rock in the center of the photo--the dark V treeline pulls your eye to the rock and you kinda stay there. You might try cropping using the thirds rule and see what happens to the focus. Also, a more dramatic sky might help---try bringing up the blue and adding a little contrast in that particular area.

Thanks for your comments. This was one of the first shots I took with a digital camera, and actually was the one that motivated me to create the Lens Flare gallery (it wasn't called that at first though, it was just a gallery on the side of another site of mine).
I agree that the sky could use a little more. I did 'try' to use the rule of thirds, with ~1/3 being sky, ~1/3 being mountain, and ~1/3 being water.
Thanks for your feedback.
