I have someone who sells T-shirts and wants me to get pictures of kids in t-shirts for the purpose of blowing them up to the cardboard cut outs in true to life size. He wants people who are buying shirts to have a life size model so they can guestimate for kids...

We will be using a ruler, but can anyone give advice on what I need to do or suggest he do regarding ratios and the amount to enlarge? I am doing it for free because I have never tried this before, but I'd like to help him out in this project if at all possible. I shoot with a 30D.

Thank you for your help!

Usually the printer has better upsizing software than PS, & they have the experience to get the most out of it for their printers. So my first step would be to ask them what they need.

I made a life sized cardboard cutout of myself not long ago. I had a photo taken with a 5D, I just upsized it in Photoshop, which worked fine. It's a bit tricky to cut it out, outsource the production to a lab if you can, but if you want to do it yourself I can give you some advice on methods and tools.

You can try this link. They seem to be one of the least expensive that I have found so far.
