I just downloaded GIMP and found this http://gerla.net/gimp/ (the second one is the one I want) but I cannot figure out how to get it or what to do. I am BRANDNEW to gimp and I'm clueless.....can anyone please help me?

looks lke you need python script for these(not 100%) but try fx foundry or virtualphotographer. both are free and easy to install

Like d_rec says, looks like you need python script.

There are other sepia and soft focus scripts at the GIMP plugin registry that don't require this. Tried there?

I have not tired that. I know absolutely nothing about Gimp. My trial of PSP ran out and I was going to use Gimp until PSPX2 gets here. Thanks. I will try those links and see if I can figure it out.
