View Full Version : Maintaining drop shadows when changing background color-RC4

When I change the background color in "Original", I have not been able to change the "two-sided white border" that runs with the shadow to the new color.

http://webhost-2.webgnostics.com/avvphoto.com/gallery/photo.php?photo=105&exhibition=6&pass=public&size= default&lang=eng

The styles manual addresses this, but it must refer to an earlier version (the shadow files are JPEG's, not PSD files).

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The PSD files are in 1.22 full install zip available from http://photography-on-the.net/ee/download.php

List page tab and logo as in 1.5 (more rendered look) are at http://photography-on-the.net/ee_style_tab_and_logo_15.zip

Pekka, Thanks for your response.

I used the PSD files and followed instructions in the style manual. The images I created showed the gradual change of color. Yet when I upload them, the revised style does not reflect the changes created.

The page color has changed, but not the "white shadow border".

Have I missed something?

Thanks again for your help.

I've been working on this for a couple of days and still no luck. It appears that this may be a path error, for the modified jpegs are in place, yet the program seems to default to the "original" file. When I temporarlily disable the jpeg's in the original file, the white border disappears and some small squares appear instead.

Is there code in the "Shadow section" (pointing to the appropriate directory) that needs to be adjusted as well?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Just answered my own question. There is code that has defines the root in the style definition file.

// root directory for style graphs $s_graph_root = "styles/gray/";

Once I changed that, Voila.
