Hello

I have a problem with focus on my EOS 10D. I am using a Tamron 28-75 SP AF lens and some of the pictures are really poor on the focusing. I do not have the ability to add these pictures to the web so I am asking you kind lot to display an e-mail where I can send them to you for critique.

The one of the baby was shot in RAW, focus point was in the eye. F5.6 shutter speed 1/90th. Yet the ear and the hair is in more focus.

It may well be my camera technique I was pretty close up to the subject on both occassions

Please help , any advice gratefully received

Thks

Try doing a search here for "front focus" or "back focus". There have been several threads here on it, as a number of 10Ds had problems with this. Some of the threads link to a simple test you can do to see if you're having this problem.

Thks very much for your help, as the camera is less than 1 year old I have sent it back to Canon , Free of charge, for some tests, hopefully it will resolve this annoying bug that I have. It does not stop me wondering though if its my technique, so I hope it is not and this issue is resolved.

In the meantime would anyonebe so kind to let me send the photo for review, I cant seem to add a photo to this site.
