With partly cloudy skies and temperatures soaring to 32 degree it was a great day to take a swim as part of the Northwest Illinois Special Olympics Polar Bear Plunge at Olson Lake.

nice captures. you wouldn't catch me in that freezing water. to each their own i guess.

Hmmmmm, no comments about the guy on the left? : ) It was 32 degrees air and water temp and I was cold just standing out there for an hour doing the shooting.

Were you in the water or on a boat? Its interesting how you got the spectators in the BG.

Were you in the water or on a boat? Its interesting how you got the spectators in the BG.
I was on the ice on the other end of the hole they opened up for the plungers.
