Does anyone have an easy way to date stamp a photo when printing. I capture my photos on a Canon PowerShot S30 and print them on a Canon 820, however I have not found any means for date stamp (I've gotten used to the date appearing on my photo's from using a Pentax film camera for many years).

One easy way is to "proof" your photos through Breezebrowser software ( www.breezesys.com ). The proofing option (which is really just a post-processing option with as little or much alteration to your original photo as you want) includes the ability to watermark an image. The watermark option allows you to put in any text, or extract any of the EXIF data from the photo (such as date, or time and date, etc.) and write this on the photo (in a number of ways).

This is the easiest to use Date Stamp software available. I have been looking for something also and Thumbs Plus just was too cumbersome. The cost is realatively cheap and you can download a trial version to see if you like it. Once in the trial version or registered version go to Applications--Time/Date Stamp. You can choose to do all files within a folder so once you download the files you can move them to a folder, then click the Start button. I love to have the date stamp on my snapshots, I paid the $19.00 just to use the date/time stamp feature of this software alone. Also Tech Support for the program is great and updates are free. Hope this helps!

In ZoomBrowser, click File, then Preferences, click on the Printing tab, then check the Date or Date and Time box.
