really i think this should a sticky its seems to be a common topic in the forum

any way it really intrests me so i have a few questions

#1 has anyone written a manual on how to take advantage of these new features.

#2 AIservo does it work in all modes or just sports mode still.

#3 what is the latest release plz post a link if it dosent break forum rules.

#4 what are the benifits (do i now have a 10D in a rebel body)

AI servo does not work fully. You have to release and depress fast in order to take a shot.
FEC, Mirror lockup, one shot AF are my favorite.

To get a "manual", go to the Canon site, download the 10D manual and print the custom functions section. :wink:

Anyway.. in all seriousnes.. I agree .. it is a great idea to try and keep the info consolidated in one place..

...so feel free to add further info to the thread listed above.. and also post any further questions on the 300D frimware hack in that thread too so we can maintain a single spot for this info.
