This is a new method for me- a really long exposure in almost-dark conditions. I figured the waterfall would just turn to haze, but there's actually some detail there, and the 10sec exposure smoothed the pool's water out. There seems to be a bit of a blurry, funny look to stuff at the top of the waterfall, I'm not sure if that's a result of camera shake or what- but the well-lit rock isn't blurry, so maybe it's something else.
I've intentionally under-exposed- I like the dark and brooding outsides compared to the white of the waterfall.
Please- let me know what you think? Too long an exposure? Wait for more light? Anything and and everything- let fly the slings and arrows of outrageous critique!
Taken with the tripod (and my backside) in the water. 30D, 24-105, tripod, timer release.
Manual Ex, Tv 10sec, Av 9, ISO 200, 24mm, Auto WB
