Ok so I'm always on ebay looking at cameras because I"m looking into buying my first. But everytime I look at a bid they higest bidder is always someone with "letter***letter"
Here is an example page
http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=130202133469

Who are these people, its almost annoying and I cant seem to figure out who they are.

Thanks and sorry for the rant.

If you had read the box above the bidders you would have read ths...
" eBay has changed how bid history information is displayed for higher-priced items. To help keep the eBay community safe, enhance bidder privacy, and protect our members from fraudulent emails, only you and the seller of the item can view your User ID in bid history. Other members will see anonymous names, such as x***y. "

and you say you are always on ebay ?? ;)

Ha I feel stupid now, I am only on to look at cameras, ha everything else is never that expensive. Anyways I was like "who are these people, are they like those scammer's that buy all those camera's, ha I was so confused" I was like how can someone make so many accounts. That make me feel a lot better, that an ordinary person can still bid on one and be able to win.
Thanks a lot. :D

You'll find better deals here anyway.

Maybe, some of them though are pretty tempting. :)

As far as Ebay goes, better to sell than to buy...;)
that last-minute feeding frenzy is an unhealthy way to make purchasing decisions!

Ha, some people might get carried away and make a really high bid and be happy they one until they realized they paid $700 for a used 20D. Is that sort of what your saying?

There is a car group that I'm in that refuses to call it ebay, to them it is epay. You may find that rare part, but you are going to pay!!!

I miss the good ol days when I could look up bidders' past (highest) bids so I would know how much more to bid than them...more than once I've won with a bid LESS than the next increment...

Oh ya, now ya tell us. :) I just buy crap on Ebay. It's the equivalent of buying stuff from the back of comic books.
