Tree ornament project

I took this shots over a year ago. I have raw files, but I can't for the life of me make them look as good as these jpgs from the camera. I guess that tells you I'm a photoshop beginner.

So my grandmother (who is gone now) made hundreds of ornaments similar to these. All her children and grandchildren (myself included) have some of these. Prized possessions for everyone.

I plan on printing some images and having them framed, maybe three to a frame with a nice mat and a caption. My mother, sisters and aunts would love this as a gift.

What can I do to improve these shots? I have many more, but these are a good sample. Thanks for the help.

Are this images to poor to discuss or just boring?

Would be better images had you turned the lights off.

I thought the lights helped communicate Christmas.

If the lights are a bad thing perhaps this is one of those rare times when selective color might be an option? Thoughts?
