I have CS2 and when I want to batch resize and keep the files within certain dimensions for height and width, I always do this:

File -> Scripts -> Image processor

Then I select the folder from the images I want to resize and then select the folder I want the resized ones to go into.

Then I select resize to fit and choose 660 width and 400 for height because that's the tallest and widest I can have for my site.

It's always run just fine but I haven't been able to run it for a couple weeks now.

I keep getting this error:

Script Alert

sorry something major happened and I can't continue, would you like to see more info?

(So, I press yes) and then it says:

error: user cancelled the operation: 1548 ( I never cancel anything! )

Can someone help me please?

Tony

Never mind I did a google and found the answer and it works now. I accidentally had the convert to sRGB selected even though they are already sRGB's. Duh me

Well, thanks for the info - maybe your experience will help somebody else in the future.

Seems like a glitch - I wonder if Adobe are aware of it?

I am not certain if it's a glitch or not. There's an entire section dedicated to giving help for this problem though.

Here is the official info incase anyone else ever needs it::::::

Issue: When you save a JPEG image with an embedded sRGB profile in Image Processor, Image Processor returns one of the following error messages:

– “Sorry, something major happened and I can’t continue! Would you like to see more info?”

– “Error: User Cancelled the operation: 1548.”

Detail

Convert Profile To sRGB is selected in Image Processor.

Solutions

Do one or more of the following solutions:

Solution 1: Deselect Convert Profile To sRGB in Image Processor.

This error only occurs when the sRGB profile is already embedded in your images. If you have images with different profiles in them, process the sRGB images separately so you can use this solution.
