Found the first dandelion flower in my garden yesterday. Pics taken at 0,20 mins, 90 mins interval. Noticed when I was doing the last shot the flower had a tiny visitor - a chalcid wasp 1.4mm long.

nice shots. there is much detail in these, and the color is very pleasing to the eye.

Thanks Alistair :)
Keep on meaning to do that properly with a camera/tripod and do a time lapse but a bit worried about leaving a camera and tripod in the front garden :)

Beautiful series with great colours! As a stand alone shot #3 is my favourite!

Yeah, #3 is a great shot of the dandelion - there is more to them than you would imagine seeing the detail there. The little wasp is lovely too :-)

These are fantastic--I never realized that each little yellow spire splits and curls on the end till I macro'd one last spring---even weeds are interesting when you get really close!

WOW. That's all I can say. Honestly, how can you pull off such wonderful pictures from the typical "garden wee?" Aslo, I tried reading the exif data on the shots and couldn't. Is it my error or are they not attached to these photos?

Thanks for the kind comments everyone- much appreciated :)
Dan - these pics are focus stacked from around 4 to 5 shots each to increase the DOF- the software czm strips the exif data. The original stacks were taken in M mode- ettl flash, 1/200th F7.1 to F10 ISO200.

Thanks Brian. I am still literally amazed at how wonderful of a job you do with the stacking. I've tried and tried, I'm getting better, but it's very difficult.
