Please help me sort this picture out...

I have taken this picture from the weekend and it is of one of my mates. Can some people try and help me enhance it, whether it be cropping it, getting rid of the people, sorting out the colours etc etc. I need it finalised for printing but am having trouble coming about what I want it too look like.

but when resized it made it out of focus, fuzzy and it generally is not that good!

A closer crop is all I did...just the car and the spectators...

I used your crop and did a level, contrast and sharpened the shot! What size is the full res? And could you post a link to it on a site like Flickr?

I took rw2's edit and did a little bit of motion blur along with a very slight bit of radial blur on the wheels.

EDIT: And took out the spectators.
