Tamrac Velocity 7 & 300D

Any here use this bag and 300D with grip and attached 28-135 IS or 17-40L? I already have a mini-trekker, and looking for a simple day bag to carry my camera and 1-2 lenses. Thanks.

I use it. It's a little tight with the grip, but it does fit. Without the grip it's no problem. I typically have the 17-40 on the camera (without the grip) on one side and the 70-200 f/4 on the other (I put a divider up the center, slightly offset to one side). I put the cable release, filters and extra batteries in the outside pouch. If I want to bring the 420EX flash, I put it in a Lowepro accessory case and fasten it the outside.

You would have no problem with your 17-40 on the camera and your 28-135 next to it. I can't remember if the 300D is a little shorter than the 10D, so it may fit better with the BG-E1 grip.

I use the Velocity 7 for a 10D(No grip)with attached lense, extra lens, 550EX flash, spare batteries and CF Card, bulb blower. It's very comfortable as well.
