I took photos Saturday on an overcast day in Ohio of a bridge mainly using Tv and AF. On 2 images a noticeable light streak at the right one-third mark on the image. A couple weeks ago I had 2 images with a much less noticeable light streak at the left one-third mark of the image.
I was hoping to track it down to one lens but Saturday's work was with my 75-300m and a couple weeks ago it was the 50mm. Saturday's were vertical shots and the 50mm were horizontal shots. And I was using my battery grip for both.
The strangest thing is that Saturday's images, the 2 bad ones, did not automatically download through my card reader and the Zoombrowser camera window with the rest of the images! And the EXIF data recorded for these 2 images are limited, about half of what normally is recorded.
Plus the shutter speed for the 2 are 1/2000 and 1/3200 where all my other images were no faster than 1/400. Anyone have any similar? My brother initially suggested light might have come in through the body somehow.
I'll definately be monitoring it.
