The following I played with in lightroom
I added some fill
added some warmth
then I used weak noise suppression
with noiseware

I'm wondering if I should bump the colors a little?
What ya think?

I don't think your "fill" has worked too well, because now the girl's hair and the father's forehead are nearly bleached out. I tried a boost to "fill" in Lightroom and the colours seem to have been retained really rather well. If you switch on "Image editing OK" I'll post back my example, if you'd like me to.

EDIT : Have you set Lightroom to output files to sRGB or is it at some other color space setting? You'll need sRGB for use on the web. Otherwise colours will be off.

Not sure how well this will work, but here is my Lightroom workspace, showing the before and after versions and the adjustments I made.

Agree that your shadows are too stopped up.

Lightroom is limited to global adjustments, which is not always the best for shadow recovery.
